Maureen Chebor is a CrossRoads Volunteer with EASSI. She is in the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Department and volunteers on Gender Monitoring and Evaluation. She holds a Master’s Degree from The University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s of Education from the same institution. She was a former Assistant Tutor at Moi University and Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) in Kenya teaching Project Management units. Subsequently, she has worked in the United Arab Emirates as an Office Administrator.
Maureen believes in Progressive Development in the community and as such, she is passionate about Gender Development and Empowerment through access to quality information. She has been a champion for Women’s Empowerment through partnering with similar organizations that champion for Gender Equality, Peace, Youth Mentorship, and Agriculture.
Away from Academics, Maureen is a trained Certified Mediator from Dispute and Conflict Resolution International and she enjoys networking with Women in Agriculture and Practices Environmental Conservation.
Her areas of expertise include Project Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation, Training and Development, Communications, Proposal Writing, Administration, Research, and Mediation.
